The L8i employs a 48” planar magnetic line source to reproduce everything above 550 Hz and eight proprietary 3”x5” woofers for the bass. The L8i’s 48-inch tall line source driver complement allows for high resolution, low distortion, and superior dynamic range. The result is a highly detailed, dynamically accurate, genuinely effortless performance at any volume level. Slim and elegant in design, the in-wall/ceiling Insight Series L8i can be made to blends nicely into a your décor through our optional custom length grilles. The Line Source design eliminates floor and ceiling reflection while distributing sound levels uniformly across the width of any room. It provides a much better power constituency than a point source. This is a great benefit when designing an entertainment system in large modern open-floor living spaces as well as multi-tier theaters.
